    You should not take any other medication that contains the two drugs in Combivir, lamivudine and zidovudine. You should tell your doctor about any conditions that you might have before taking Combivir, including kidney or liver problems, and whether or not you are pregnant. Because Combivir lowers the number of infection-fighting blood cells, you may contract infections or bleed more easily if you are injured; extra precautions may be necessary.
