    An intensivist is often a critical care healthcare specialist. Intensivist are responsible for managing serious medical systems and conditions. Critical care medicine includes cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterologist, and multitude of other specialties working together to manage the bodies response to illness, cancer, autoimmune processes, and accidents.
