Is it easy to change congregations if I want to?

What makes anger seductive is believing that it makes you productive when it doesn't. It's usually despite the anger, not because of it.
Anger does help you to focus better; in that sense, it can help you be more productive. When you focus better, you gain more power, for better and for worse. But when you focus your mind using anger, it has negative consequences. Your blood pressure goes up, your arteries constrict, your platelets become more sticky and are more likely to form blood clots, all of which can lead to chest pain or heart attacks. Meditation and prayer can provide the power that comes from being able to focus energy without the harmful effects that anger often brings.
