Is it common to have glaucoma for decades with no vision loss?

    It is very good to have glaucoma for this many years and to be doing so well. It might even be reasonable to take a step back and re-evaluate your condition to ensure that treatment is even still indicated. However, glaucoma can be a very challenging disease, and as we age pressures that our eyes seemed to tolerate when younger all of a sudden can become too high and lead to damage. While it is very reassuring to have done so well, it is always important to be vigilant.
