Is basaloid squamous cell carcinoma serious?
-
Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma is relatively serious for a variety of reasons. Because the tumors aren't visible and because its symptoms seem like those of other conditions, the cancer may not be diagnosed until later stages, or it may be misdiagnosed as something else. Also, basaloid squamous cell carcinoma is quite aggressive, meaning it spreads through the body quickly. Because of this combination of factors, basaloid squamous cell carcinoma is often fatal after a few years.
