    Acupuncture is not a type of naturopathy. It is a practice with ancient roots that uses needles to stimulate energy paths or meridians of the body to improve the flow of energy or chi and restore balance and health to the body.

    Naturopathy is a health system that utilizes many alternative therapies to enable the body to heal.  These may include nutrition, exercise, herbal remedies, homeopathy and acupuncture.
