    Pregnancy, certain medical conditions, and several drugs, including cold and allergy medications and antinausea drugs, may increase a person's likelihood of suffering from restless legs syndrome (RLS).

    Stress, anxiety, and other psychological problems may make symptoms worse, but RLS is not a psychological condition.
