But if you already suffer from some form of hearing loss, be it from an illness or from age-related hearing loss, suffering from noise-induced hearing loss will only worsen your condition. In fact, because noise-induced hearing loss often occurs gradually over time, it can be fairly easily confused with simply age-related hearing loss.
