  1. Uterine sarcoma can come back (recur) after it has been treated. Recurrence can happen even several years after the original cancer treatment. If the cancer does recur, treatment may include further surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation. Women who have had uterine sarcoma will need to be monitored and follow up with their doctor in case there is a recurrence.
