How can I start my infant on track to a healthy weight as a child?

    Breastfeeding has been shown in some studies to reduce the risk of childhood obesity and should be encouraged if possible.

    Once your baby starts solids be sure to include fruits & vegetables each day. As their food intake progresses introduce them to food in a wide variety of colors, flavors & textures.

    Let them see you eating a healthy diet as children learn a lot by copying what they see those around them eating.
