How should I prepare for my baby's birth during week 14 of pregnancy?
-
By week 14, you're starting your second trimester of pregnancy! You still have a lot of time before your baby is born, but you can start preparing now by continuing to exercise. You may be more enthusiastic about this now that you're feeling more energetic and less nauseous. Exercise will not only keep you and your baby healthy throughout pregnancy, but it will help prepare you for the actual process of giving birth. Moderate exercise - even walking - can help build endurance and strength that you'll need during labor. Don't do anything too strenuous that could injure your baby or cut off your baby's oxygen supply, but try to be active every day.
