A Maryland bonded dental bridge usually takes two visits to the dentist. During the first visit, molds are taken of the area in order to make the false teeth (pontics) in the bridge. During the second visit, usually about one week later, the Maryland bonded bridge is put into place. Both visits usually take about an hour to 90 minutes. You may need one or more shorter visits after the procedure to make sure the bridge fits correctly and feels comfortable.
