In relationships where one partner (man or woman) does most or all of the household chores, research suggests that sharing the chore burden more evenly can be perceived as an aphrodisiac by the individual who was previously responsible for all the work. Did I run home and do all the laundry after reading this study? You bet!

Is this really a shock? Consider that you always pay the bills, rake the leaves and cook. Then you wake up one day and your partner is doing all this for you and doing it well! Wow! I would say that could create some sense of arousal or attraction. If tonight I cooked an incredible dinner for my wife, set the table and played soft music … would that up my chances (another bad pun, sorry) that I would score? Just call me Chef Moyad from now on!
