Your doctor may watch you closely for certain interactions and side effects, or change the doses of other drugs you are taking. Check with your doctor before combining Cymbalta with any of the following medications: antibiotics known as quinolones, such as ciprofloxacin; antidepressants known as tricyclics, including amitriptyline, nortriptyline, and imipramine; antidepressants such as fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, and venlafaxine; antipsychotic medications known as phenothiazines, including chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, mesoridazine, perphenazine, and prochlorperazine; flecainide; fluvoxamine; narcotic painkillers; propafenone; quinidine; sleep inducers; and tranquilizers. .
