Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Approximately one in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among women ages 35 to 54. Colon cancer will be diagnosed in 140,000 people each year and more than 30,000 men will die of the disease.
