    Cochlear implant users experience a lot of frustration trying to listen in large groups or in noisy situations - especially early after the surgery. Over time, however, the ability to communicate and deal with noise becomes easier. As the brain becomes more accustomed to noise, it may develop the ability to ignore unwanted noises.
