Your orthodontist then moves the teeth on the digital model to the desired final result. The ClearCorrect company then creates a series of clear plastic aligners that sequentially move your teeth from the initial position to the desired position by altering individual tooth positions in the plastic, little by little. Every couple of weeks you'll get a new set of aligners that move the teeth a little closer to that final position. Dr. De Vizio of Colgate answered:ClearCorrect works by slowly moving your teeth into a proper position. A set of aligner trays are custom-made for your mouth. You wear each tray for about three to four weeks until a slight shift has occurred. Then you insert one of the remaining trays. The pressure of the trays moves your teeth into alignment and corrects crowding or spacing problems.
