Here are some tips for taking care of your nine-month-old baby:
    • Remember, there's no such thing as perfect parenting. We all have our own style. The key is to create an environment that allows your child to explore and be challenged in a safe and loving way.
    • Toys called busy boards, which hang on the inside of cribs, are terrific for buying you a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning.
    • Baby is crawling at this point and may even be standing and cruising. You should have your home childproofed by now. And make sure those bookcases are bolted to the wall. Be prepared for an accident, just in case.
    • Play lots of peekaboo.
    • Preserve her teeth: No bottles of juice or milk in bed. And try giving her a sippy cup for daytime drinking!
