You should take curcurmin exactly as instructed on the OTC package label or as directed by your doctor. Typically, depending on the disorder being treated, this will be three or four times daily. Curcumin is available as a capsule, a powder, an extract or a tea. However, curcumin tea may be less effective since it does not dissolve well and is not absorbed efficiently in the intestines. Curcumin also can be applied topically in paste form for skin conditions such as scabies.
