How are night terrors diagnosed?

You may remember having night terrors, but probably not. If you live with other people, they will probably tell you about your night terrors. Night terrors are usually not a problem, but if they are, see your doctor. Your doctor may examine you and ask you questions about your medical history, sleep habits, and medications. In rare cases, your doctor may refer you to spend the night in a sleep lab, where you will be measured and observed as you sleep.
