Stacy Wiegman answered:Amiloride-hydrochlorothiazide (Moduretic) can be risky when mixed with certain drugs. Do not take amiloride-hydrochlorothiazide if you also take spironolactone or triamterene -- these drugs are also prescribed to help your body get rid of water. Tell your doctor if you take captopril (Capoten), digoxin (Lanoxin), enalapril (Vasotec), indomethacin (Indocin), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid), vitamins, potassium, or medications for arthritis, diabetes or high blood pressure.
