The best choices are easiest. Dried fruit (raisins, dates, mangos, apples, pears); truly ripe fresh fruit; very high quality dark chocolate (I did a tasting recently) which you let melt, slowly, richly, fully. And avoid artificial sweeteners: they fool your palate, and you end up eating more.

Give healthy dessert recipes enticing names and simple ingredients, like those of ChefMD, such as:

    • Chocolate Covered Pomegranate Clusters
    • Coconut-Banana Tapioca Pudding
    • Dark Chocolate Fruit Dip
    • Ginger Snap Apple Crisp with Sweet Cinnamon and Walnuts
    • Polenta with Berries
    • Pumpkin Pecan Squares
    • Steel Cut Oat Pudding with Dark Chocolate and Lime
    • Sweet Balsamic-Glazed Oranges
    • Berries
    • Sweet Roasted Pears with Pomegranate Syrup Drizzle
    • Triple Berry Blender Blaster
