Many of the foods included in a balanced diet are high in these and other vitamins. Drinking milk and orange juice are two common foods. Some others include eating other dairy foods and many leafy or root vegetables. Eating a well-balanced diet also has a positive impact on oral health. Limiting snacking and limiting sugary foods is better for the teeth. Eating sugary foods or eating often increases the attacks on the teeth and possibilities for tooth decay.

*Dairy products, such as low-fat milk, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. Just beware of the fat content. It's best to eat dairy products in a balance with other foods throughout the day.
*Vegetables, especially green vegetables such as broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, spinach, and celery. Mushrooms are a vegetarian source of vitamin D.
*Sunlight helps your body make vitamin D.
*Fish are excellent sources of vitamin D, such as catfish, eel, salmon, mackerel, sardines, and tuna.
*Eggs provide some vitamin D.
*Grains, such as bread and cereals, are fortified with vitamin folic acid, and other vitamins.
