Who is a good candidate for liposuction?

Patients who are excellent candidates for liposuction technique normally have good skin tone, are at their ideal body weight, and are healthy with no serious systemic medical diseases.  A good result from liposuctioning usually requires patients who have good skin tonicity.  Often those who have not had childbearing, and that will have tightening of the skin postoperatively.  Poor candidates are normally those who have had multiple pregnancies, who have loose skin, and whose skin will become even looser after liposuction.
