- anti-arrhythmia drugs like quinidine
- aspirin products and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn)
- beta-blockers such as metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol) and propranolol (Inderal, Inderide)
- blood thinners such as warfarin (Coumadin)
- carbamazepine (Tegretol)
- clopidogrel (Plavix)
- cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune)
- dextromethorphan (in cough medications)
- diltiazem (Cardizem)
- diuretics ("water pills")
- ketoconazole (Nizoral)
- medications for anxiety, depression or mental illness, such as lithium, buspirone (BuSpar), diazepam (Valium), clozapine (Clozaril) and haloperidol (Haldol)
- methadone (Dolophine, Methadose)
- mexiletine (Mexitil)
- metoclopramide
- midazolam (Versed)
- migraine medications, such as almotriptan (Axert), eletriptan (Relpax), frovatriptan (Frova), naratriptan (Amerge), rizatriptan (Maxalt), sumatriptan (Imitrex) or zolmitriptan (Zomig)
- omeprazole (Prilosec, Zegerid)
- phenytoin (Dilantin)
