Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) can cause a number of eye problems. They include:

    • Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the transparent mucous membrane under the eyelids)
    • Scarring of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye)
    • Iritis (inflammation inside the eye)
    • Corneal blisters and perforation

Left untreated, SJS can lead to vision loss.
