You know what I hear all the time from people who feel more overworked than a Buffalo snow-plow driver? "I have no time." No time to think, no time to work, no time to tell people I have no time. So what we all think we have in today's day and age is a time management problem. We're overburdened and undermanned. You know what I think? It actually has little to do with time at all. Our problem is more of an energy management problem. If we feel energized, excited, jazzed, and ready to rock at work, then time management is no longer an issue. You get to a somewhat cosmic point (like "the zone" for athletes) where you're managing time efficiently and smartly. You can't wait to get to work, and you enjoy going home as well. So, really, your goal maybe shouldn't be to delegate more or take on less; it should be to manage your health so that you feel as energized as a caffeinated puppy without having to rely on artificial and temporary means to do so.

Try exercise to feel more energized at work and throughout your day. The research states that exercise provides an enhanced mood (feeling more positive and better able to deal with situations that come up), more clear thought process (the ability to think more quickly and make better decisions), better sleep (falling asleep more quickly, longer periods of deep sleep and feeling more refreshed in the morning), reduced stress (things are less stressful and dealt with in a less stressful way), less anxiety (situations are less anxiety provoking and anxiety is dealt with in a more efficient way)and improves levels of depression (exercise improves mood alleviating one of the top symptoms).
