    There are a wide variety of symptoms that can be indicative of mental health problems- and many symptoms overlap- for example-insomnia, difficulty concentrating, feeling restless can be symptoms of a number of disorders including several types of depression and anxiety disorders including- major depressive episode, generalized anxiety disorder. There are subtle signs and symptoms that a doctor asking the right questions can help to assess the exact diagnosis. Having low mood, low energy, sleep changes, appetite changes, ruminations, worried thoughts, intrusive thoughts-are all signs of mental health problems-particularly when they affect one’s ability to work, take care of family and personal obligations. If your emotional problems are interfering with your ability to reach your full or baseline potential, it may be worth speaking to a therapist.
