Yes! Egg donation and surrogacy are both excellent family-building options for couples facing infertility. The relative ease or difficulty of surrogacy is dependent on where you live; in the U.S., several states are very surrogate-friendly, while other states involve more red tape. Resolve.org, the National Infertility Association, highlights even more family-building options for couples facing infertility (much more information can be found on Resolve.org's website).

In addition to donor eggs and surrogacy (also known as using a gestational carrier), options include: donor sperm, donor embryos, surgery to repair issues such as blocked fallopian tubes or varicose veins in the scrotum, ovulation induction (OI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), various forms of IVF, becoming foster parents and adoption. Families come in all forms and sizes.
