    Stimulant containing drinks have been shown in research to enhance strength/power performance across a number of energy systems, including strength/muscle endurance, power, and even moderate intensity cardiovascular endurance sports. They often contain caffeine and a mix of several other stimulants. People have a wide variety of tolerance to these chemicals, and those that experience agitation, nervousness, insomnia, or rapid heart beat with caffeine should avoid them.
