Bedbugs live in bedding and furniture. They may also be found in areas like baseboards, carpet and curtains. They hide in dark cracks during the day and come out at night to eat. Their main food supply is blood. They obtain this blood supply from people like you and me. Most people do not react to bedbug bites; others develop a red itchy lesion. The redness that occurs with bed bug bites will usually go away on its own in two to three weeks.
