Should I talk to my doctor about different dosing for my fibromyalgia meds?

    If you are not getting adequate relief for your fibromyalgia symptoms, talk to your doctor. Your doctor has the knowledge and expertise to help you adjust the dosages of your fibromyalgia medications to help relieve your pain and other symptoms. Sometimes taking more of one medication, or taking it at a different time of day, may be the adjustment you need.

    Yes. People with fibromyalgia often have increased sensitivity to medications and may need lower dosing. Because of this, ask the doctor to start your medications at a lower dose and slowly work the dose up so that you can be sure that you feel comfortable with the dosing.
