Car crashes are a common cause of tooth fractures and tooth loss. Not wearing your seatbelt can cause your mouth to hit the steering wheel. This can result in severe damage to your teeth and mouth. It may be possible to reattach or restore teeth lost or damaged in a car accident. While car crashes can be very busy scenes, try to remind rescue workers to look for your lost tooth if you could not find it yourself. Take it with you to the emergency room. An emergency dentist may be able to restore it.
