Yes, dental crowns can improve the look of your teeth, and your smile. Crowns are used to help strengthen a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth remaining to hold the filling. They can also be used to attach bridges, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that’s already broken. Crowns are also a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped and can be used to cover a dental implant.

Dental crowns may be used as a cosmetic solution for teeth. They can improve  the appearance of natural teeth that are discolored or badly shaped. An alternative to dental crowns are porcelain veneers, which do not destroy as much of the tooth as a crown procedure.

Yes. However, a lot of it depends on how you are trying to improve the looks of your teeth. If your teeth are chipped or stained or you have gaps, veneers (which are more conservative) maybe another option. If your teeth are cracked and/or worn down then a crown maybe a better option. Dentistry has evolved so much that minimally invasive crowns (where you keep most of your own teeth) are available. Neuromuscular dentistry is a non-invasive way of improving beauty and function of your teeth.
