There's no general warning against taking the blood pressure medication Cozaar (losartan) if you've had your gallbladder removed. However, every person's medical situation is different. Be sure to give your doctor a complete medical history, and tell him or her about all your other medications (prescription and over-the-counter) as well any supplements you take.

In preparation for any surgery, please review all of your medications with your surgeon and your anesthesiologist and ask for specific instructions on how you should take your medications before and after your surgery. They are the best judge.
