The 'Comprehensive Soldier Fitness' program was developed by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the US Army. The primary goal of the training program was designed to create strength through development of emotional and psychological strength as well as physical strength. Call it a mind-body fitness system.  The members of the US Armed forces certainly embody physical and emotional fitness.

The 'Comprehensive Soldier Fitness' program has 5 dimensions of strength:

    1. Physical
    2. Emotional
    3. Social
    4. Family
    5. Spiritual

This program will absolutely help you achieve your goals.

The Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program is a joint undertaking by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the US Military. The military has resisted recognizing that this is a research project being carried out on a massive number of military personnel for whom this is MANDATORY training. This is psychological conditioning without informed consent from the participants. As the APA and Military have already committed time and money to the project, showing success will be absolutely necessary.

There are many psychologists in the field, and many members of the APA, who have expressed strong reservations about the ethics of this study. Before you begin this training, you should spend a good deal of time and effort researching it before subjecting yourself to a military-sponsored psychological modification program. You could start with the following article published in Psychology Today, published on March 25, 2011 by Roy Eidelson, Ph.D. "The Dark Side of 'Comprehensive Soldier Fitness.'" I am only urging you to look past the promotion by the APA and US Military, and see what are the concerns being expressed by peers within the APA about the validity and ethics of the principles underlying this research project. This is not yet a proven program, although it has received much fanfare and popular press coverage.

Excerpt:"...We should also keep in mind that every effort to support military operations is billed as 'support for our troops.' Whether it is the use of drones that kill from a continent away or tapping into a soldier's capacity to kill without a serious hangover, all are justified as for the brave troops. But the decisions to use military force are not made with the well-being of military personnel in mind, nor are they made by soldiers or even influenced by their desires. Master resilience trainers in the Army will not be urging soldiers to report violations of the rules of engagement by their superiors. They will not encourage soldiers to empathize with the humanity of the adults and children whom they may have killed as collateral damage, nor to use forms of restorative justice for apology and reconciliation that have a potential for deeper healing. And they will not encourage troops to build supportive ties with those critical of the wars they are fighting or the tactics required of them."
