Is chronic myelogenous leukemia a type of chronic MPD?

There are six types of chronic myeloproliferative disorders. One type is, chronic myelogenous leukemia, is where the bone marrow produces excessive white blood cells. This blood disease progresses slowly and produces symptoms such as tiredness, fever, sweats, and an enlarged spleen. Treatment depends on the phase of the disease: chronic, accelerated, or acute.
