    No. Though many patients with celiac disease can have joint and muscle pains that may mimic and be mistaken for various types of arthritis, such as polymyalgia rheumatica, the treatments are completely different. A person with arthritis will have no benefit from going on the kind of gluten-free diet that helps celiac disease sufferers.
