A cantilever dental bridge procedure is usually performed in two steps. During the first visit to the dentist, the tooth to which the bridge will be attached is shaped and prepared for the crown that will hold the bridge in place. During the second visit, the bridge is cemented into place. You may need additional visits to make sure the bridge fits correctly and is comfortable.
