Even after menopause, you can still be at risk for cancer of the reproductive organs, especially if you have been exposed to HPV. It is especially important to monitor any changes and tell your doctor as soon as possible. For example, women can still experience abnormal bleeding, discharge, swelling of the abdomen, or pain in the pelvic area. Any of these symptoms are signs of concern and need to be discussed with your doctor.
