    You should be careful about letting your son play outside on a hot day. Topamax can keep your son from sweating, which is the body’s way of cooling down. If he does go out in the heat, have him drink lots of fluids. Call his doctor right away if he gets an upset stomach, fever, headache or muscle cramps from overheating.
