As a rule, however, dentists recommend waiting until a young person's permanent teeth have come in before he or she has laser teeth whitening or any other teeth bleaching procedure. Also, children tend to have larger nerve spaces in their teeth which means they are more likely to have sensitive teeth as a result of the procedure. Usually this sensitivity is temporary, but it does take time for it to go away, and it can be quite annoying during that waiting period.
