You may not consider yourself a writer, but keeping a journal, diary, or blog allows you to put your thoughts and feelings into words and to discuss daily triumphs and trials. Your life has been drastically changed by your child’s health. Some people do great venting in support groups, but others find it more therapeutic to write about their inner turmoil. You may start looking forward to having ten minutes every day or every week (or as often as you like) to just let it flow out of you.
