    Some studies have evaluated the benefit of anti-estrogen therapy, such as danazol (Danocrine) and tamoxifen (Soltamox); the endometriosis treatment gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist followed by estrogen add-back therapy; and the dopamine mimic bromocriptine (Parlodel, Cycloset). These treatments may have serious side effects and should be considered as experimental therapies. They should probably only be considered after consultation with your gynecologist.
