The physical attributes and movement patterns that make a great basketball player do not vary much between big and small players (centers/forwards and guards).  Off the court, all size of basketball players can participate in nearly identical training programs and make incredible gains.

Because basketball demands are very similar from player to player the programs would be very similar as well.  All basketball players benefit from increased explosiveness, agility, cardiovascular fitness and strength.  Because the demands of the sport while different when analyzed at a micro level are almost identical at a global level.  All players benefit from jumping higher, having greater endurance, strength, explosiveness etc.  A good basketball program will have agility and reactive training components as well as cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility elements.
