    In general, automatic blood pressure monitors are inaccurate and unreliable. If you are considering using such a device, it is important to try and test under similar conditions each time. This means using the same machine, the same time of day, and the same arm in the same position. When selecting devices, arm cuffs tend to be better than wrist cuffs.
