Michael Lamb - Sharecare Transformer answered:My favorite breakfast is oatmeal. Here is a great version: Take 1/2 cup of instant oatmeal and add 1 cup water. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Let rest about 2 minutes. Mix in 1 tablespoon brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Top with 1 tablespoon milk chocolate chips (They'll melt.); 1 tablespoon walnuts, and 1/4 banana diced. Stir and enjoy!

Stephanie Lewis - Sharecare Transformer answered:My absolute favorite breakfast food is a veggie omelet. I start with fresh red bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms and spinach. I sauté that in a fat free cooking spray then use 3/4 cup egg beaters rather than shell eggs to cut back on fat. Since I do not add salt to anything I cook, I treat myself to crumbled low-fat feta cheese that I add just before folding the omelet in half. I've got my protein and veggies, but I also have a low-fat yogurt and a banana at breakfast every day no matter what else I'm eating. I really try to hit between 400 and 500 calories for breakfast to start my day.

Jen McElroy - Sharecare Transformer answered:I have a couple of breakfasts that I love and will alternate them depending on my mood. The first is an egg over easy with toast OR a bowl of oatmeal (not the instant in the packet kind but the kind you have to cook) with some frozen fruit, (my favorite is dark sweet cherries) cinnamon and vanilla mixed in OR blueberry pancakes.
I have to admit that the blueberry pancakes are my current favorite because we've gotten a ton of fresh blueberries in our fruit box. I also consider the pancakes my reward for a hard workout since they are 6 PointsPlus and that's a little higher in PointsPlus value than I would normally spend on my breakfast. They are really filling and keep me satisfied until lunch.

Wendy Trunz - Sharecare Transformer answered:My favorite breakfast is my WW Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal. It is instant; it has 8 grams of fiber, and is only 3 points. I add some nuts and cranberries or dice up an apple in it. I always add cinnamon (Dr. Oz said it is a powerful spice that reduces heart disease, so I always add it here). On the side, I toast up Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel Bread, add a little butter or honey. Extremely healthy and so satisfying. A cup of coffee to finish off the perfect breakfast. I am ready to hit the gym right after this, and can last until lunch without getting hungry. If hunger creeps in, I have one WW Aloha granola bar (only 3 points, high in fiber, keeps you satisfied for a long time). Great to get you through until lunch or until dinner.

Mercedes Moebuis - Sharecare Transformer answered:I am a big believer in protein and fiber in the morning to combat cravings and to help you get to your next snack/meal without feeling hungry. My favorite breakfast is an eggwich! I take a 100% whole wheat English muffin and melt 1 slice of 2% American cheese on it and add one egg and one egg white. I then add a piece of fruit like a banana and there you have a balanced breakfast.
For my kids I believe in "brainy" breakfasts that follow the same principal fiber plus protein and I make them banana burritos and I enjoy them too! 100% whole-wheat tortilla spread 1 tbsp. of natural peanut butter and adds 1 small banana. Wrap like a burrito and enjoy. By combining the right combination of protein and fiber you avoid the insulin spikes and crashes from a high sugar meal! It’s important to keep your insulin steady!
