Teens with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can get overwhelmed when they want something but don't know how to make it happen. For example, you might think, "I want to get good grades, but I don't know how." Understanding how to achieve a goal is important, but it is also important to understand why a particular goal is worthwhile. When you understand why, you can use that goal to motivate you.
