Women or men can actually increase the strength of their pelvic floor muscles with Kegel exercises that are easy to do. First, start by tightly squeezing and fully releasing your pubococcygeus muscle 10 times (say that four times fast while eating saltines). The easiest possible way to find and isolate this muscle is to simply try and stop your flow of urine (without using your hands please) the next time you go to the bathroom. Once you’ve located the muscle, do several sets of the tightening exercise, with a 10- to 20-second break in between. Repeat two to three times a day. As your pelvic muscles become stronger, try to hold that tight squeeze for longer. You can do this anywhere -- watching television, waiting in line or driving in your car. You will actually feel the results of your minimal (surreptitious to the public) workout within several weeks. It may help women have multiple or more intense orgasms and could also help men have more intense orgasms.
Any other exercises that increase flexibility and strengthen the stabilizing muscles in your lower body, pelvis and core can enhance your sex life and certainly can help you twist and turn in many different sexual positions. Flexibility and core strength are not only heart healthy but important for sexual health.
