Side effects when taking budesonide include headaches, dizziness or nausea. You may also have indigestion, gas or vomiting. If you have cold or flu-like symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing or coughing, these could also be side effects from taking budesonide

In addition, you may have pain associated with this medication such as stomach or back pain or general fatigue. If you have any of these symptoms while taking budesonide, tell your doctor.
